12. Boots 17 Va Va Voom Mascara

You get a really bold black colour from this mascara and the fat brush gives you really lovely strong and long lash. It has great staying power, but that's also its downfall. It was very hard to remove at the end of the day and pulling on that delicate tissue around the eyes long term is not ideal. Take off with an oil cleanser. £6.29
